I love visiting churches. From the simple construction and plain white to the large ornate buildings. Learning about the history of the buildings has become a hobby. Today I'm sharing a picture from my home.
This church began as a Bank in 1840. It failed seven years later. It was purchased and became the church home. Many of the parishioners were from Nova Scotia seeking religious freedom.
Today's it Our Lady Star of the Sea Chapel. The chapel is open for Mass on the first Friday of the Month. It is also open for Easter Service, Christmas Eve Mass, Weddings, baptisms and tours.
